Programs

General Information

Our programs in churches, hospitals, universities, clinics, schools, prisons, and elsewhere aid many in rural and urban areas in developing countries. Alfalit's goal is to achieve sustainable development through the following programs:

• Literacy: Teaches adults to read, write and do basic mathematics
• Basic Education: Provides education equivalent to sixth grade.
• Preschool: Provides education for 3-6 year old children.
• Nutrition: Provides information about nutrition as well as sustainable techniques to grow and prepare foods.
• Health: Targets what the UN and other international organizations consider to be the leading global health crises, such as HIV, AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
• Community Development: Targets issues such as empowerment of women, prisoner education and economic development.
