Zefanias A. Chihulume

Executive Director​

Has been an ordained minister of the United Methodist Pastor
in Mozambique since December 1997. He was born and raised in Xinavane. His Father founded a Methodist Congregation and became a local pastor of that community. As a child of a peasant farmer, he always believed that education was the key element in transforming society. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Africa University in Zimbabwe, and a master’s degree from Eden Theological Seminary in St.

Louis, Missouri. Currently, he is pursuing Ph.D. in education at the Methodist University of Piracicaba, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Besides being a pastor, He is a former HR professional with experience in the private sector and public schools related environments. For more than ten years, he was a full-time Junior lecturer at Pedagogic University, an institution of higher learning designed for teacher training. In the private sector, he served in talent acquisition and development in the mining and banking industries for 13 years. Mr. Chihulume’s professional life is evidence of his call to develop people’s skills and improve their lives.
