Golf Tournament Success!

We want to say thank you to everyone who supported Alfalit’s 2024 Spring Classic. This year marked our 9th Annual Golf Tournament. It was definitely a hot day in Doral for the tournament, with record-breaking temperatures. Still, all our golf foursomes showed up to play golf and support Alfalit’s literacy programs. Alfalit had a “Record-breaking” golf tournament, thanks to all of you. We congratulate the tournament winners: 1st Place Sunstate Bank, 2nd Place Mike Mermelstein Team, and 3rd Place First Horizon Bank. 

Your generosity made Alfalit’s 9th Annual Golf Tournament a success!  Between sponsorships, golfers, a raffle, mulligans, a silent auction, and the “super golf ball launcher,” our tournament raised $187,000, which will go directly to the students we serve. Your contributions are truly life-changing.

 We had a great time seeing all of you and celebrating our friendships and Alfalit International’s work. Alfalit is positively impacting 16 countries, including the United States, and your support for our tournament changes the lives of the students enrolled in its programs. You are an integral part of our mission, and we couldn’t do it without you.

 It is a tremendous privilege for Alfalit to serve the communities of South & Central Florida and improve their lives with our educational programs. Right here in Miami-Dade County, we teach Spanish literacy classes, Alfalit Conversational English classes (ACE), and Creole classes to men and women in the neediest communities. Over the past year, we have graduated more than 1000 students here in Miami-Dade.  Again, we thank you, and our students thank you. May God continue to bless you in all that you do.
